Angelica archangelica roots have been traditionally used as a sweet smelling tea for treatment of disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract, nervous system, and also against fever, infections, and flu. The herb is also used to flavour alcoholic drinks and apéritif.

Directions:
To make a lovely Angelica herbal infusion or tea use one to two teaspoonfuls of dried root to a cupful of water. Place the herb in a saucepan, pour on the water, cover with a lid and simmer gently for approximately fifteen minutes before straining.
